- 2 slices of wholemeal bread per serve
- 15g (1 Tbsp) Nutella® per slice
- 1 ½ cups (200g) strawberries, hulled & thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
NUTELLA® 'Sushi' Skewers with Strawberry Dipping Sauce
Lay bread on cutting board and cut off crust. With a rolling pin, roll over bread to thin it out. Spread with Nutella® and cut the thinned slice of bread in half. Roll the flattened sandwich from one end to the next. Cut the snail like scrolls in half and then cut into half and inch thick round sections. Thread 4 x pieces of the rolled ‘sushi' onto bamboo skewers.
To make the strawberry sauce, combine the strawberries, sugar and vanilla in a small saucepan and gently heat for 3-4 minutes until syrupy. Place in a bowl and leave to cool. Serve the skewers together with the dipping sauce.
