Rose Water with Nutella Chocolate Mousse
INGREDIENTS:
  • Part 1:
  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 1 cup crème fraiche
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cacao
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Part 2:
  • 1 cup cold whipping cream
  • 4 tbsp natural rose water
  • Decoration:
  • 3 tbsp Nutella®
  • 150 grams mulberries
  • Shredded white chocolate (optional)
  • Edible organic rose petals (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1
Place all ingredients from part 1 in a thick-based pan.
STEP 2
Simmer over medium heat and stir until chocolate is melted and mixed with the other ingredients (approx. 3 minutes) then place in bowl and leave to cool (room temp.)
STEP 3
Mix ingredients from part 2 using an electric mixer until cream is thick and consistent (approx. 5 minutes)
STEP 4
Very gently mix parts 1 and 2 using a spatula or wooden spoon until they blend well. Make sure to do this very slowly so as to keep air bubbles in the mixture
STEP 5
Pour into serving cups and place mulberries inside
STEP 6
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours
STEP 7
Decorate with Nutella® using a confectionary bag, white chocolate and rose petals right before serving
