Breakfast in Hatay
A special pastry called "Gözleme", walnut jam, the Hatay speciality "Iberli ekmek" which is a red pepper flatbread and salted yogurt all add up to a Hatay break-feast! Homemade food is important and local olives and salads are always served. Nutella® is enjoyed spread on the local breads; fried cheese and eggs are prepared separately on a griddle and eaten with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers.
