How to make happy smiling upcycled Nutella® jars
Here is a simple but cute idea to add a touch of personality to your pots of plants. Give a second life to empty Nutella® jars by personalising them with your choice of emoticons. Fill the jars with plants and enjoy the way they light up any room.
WHAT IS NEEDED

1 empty Nutella® jar

Spray paint in 2 different colours

Adhesive tape
-
Paper for masking and to cover work surface

Waterproof pen
-

METHOD

STEP 1Spray your Nutella® jar with one of the paints in a well ventilated area.
Tip: Read carefully the spraying instructions on the canister. Don’t forget to cover your work area. It’s better to apply two thin coats so the colour will dry without running.

STEP 2When the paint is dry, mask the top half of your jar.

STEP 3Spray the bottom half with the other colour, and allow the paint to dry.

STEP 4Paint a face onto your vase using a waterproof pen.
