How to make a clay flower vase with a Nutella® jar

WHAT IS NEEDED

  • 1 empty Nutella® jar

  • Air-dry clay

  • Craft mat

  • Knife

  • Rolling pin

  • To decorate the clay: Rubber stamps, doilies, leaves

  • Spring flowers

METHOD

  1. First step in Nutella jar must-have tutorial, arranging jar materials.
    STEP 1

    Roll out your air dry clay like cookie dough, large enough to fit once around the Nutella® jar.

  2. Second step in Nutella jar DIY tutorial, adding ribbon and label.
    STEP 2

    Cut out a 6 cm wide strip.

    STEP 3

    Mould the strip of clay around the bottom part of the jar and trim off the edges carefully using the knife.

  4. Fourth step showing finished Nutella jar decoration with ribbon and tag.

    Use the rubber stamps to create your own design, or you can press doilies or leaves into the clay to create a pattern.



    Tip: Leave to dry for about 2 days so the clay sets completely.

    Tip: Don’t allow your clay to come into contact with water for too long.
