Vegan Waffle Recipe by Nutella®

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS

  • 280g all-purpose flour​

  • 30g cornstarch​

  • 30g organic sugar

  • ½ teaspoon baking sod

  • ½ teaspoon salt​

  • 500ml unsweetened soy beverage, room temperature​

  • 60ml coconut oil, melted and cooled​

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!

METHOD

  1. In a bowl whisk together unsweetened soy beverage, melted oil, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.  In another large bowl whisk together flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. Make a well in the center of dry mixture and pour in the liquid mixture, gently whisk until just incorporated, without overmixing.

  3. Spray preheated waffle iron with vegetable oil spray. Pour 1 small cup batter to waffle iron and cook 5 to 6 minutes until crisp, firm, and golden. Repeat with remaining batter. 

  4. Spread 15g of Nutella® Plant-Based on each waffle and decorate with some fruits.
