Vegan Banana Bread Recipe by Nutella®

INGREDIENTS FOR 8 SERVINGS

  • 4 small or 3 large overripe bananas​

  • 210g spelt flour ​

  • 75g cane sugar​

  • 75ml vegetable oil​

  • 1teaspoon vanilla extract​

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder​

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda​

  • 1 pinch (3g) of salt​

  • 50ml unsweetened almond beverage, only if needed​

  • 15g Nutella® Plant-Based per each waffle

To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!

METHOD

  1. In a bowl mash 3 – 4 bananas, add a vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil) and vanilla extract, mix together.

  2. Add the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix well but don’t overmix. If mixture seems too thick, add almond milk.

  3. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and decorate the surface with banana’s slices. Bake at 180°C in a preheated oven until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

  4. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

  5. Spread 15g of Nutella® Plant-Based on each slice.
