Many legends exist around nougat's origins. The early recipes of white nougat were found in Middle Eastern countries around the 10th century. A traditional confection reinvented into something special to bring on your table on Christmas Eve with a Nutella touch.
800g whipping cream
80g granulated sugar 250g crumbly nougat with hazelnuts and/or almonds
50g crispy Amaretto dried biscuits
Icing sugar to decorate
With the help of a knife, break the nougat and the Amaretto biscuits into small irregular pieces.
Whisk the cream with the sugar until light and soft.
With a wooden spoon, blend softly from downwards to upwards
Add the nougat and the crispy Amaretto biscuits pieces to the cream & sugar mixture.
Leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Serve in individual mini-cups.
Garnish each mini-cup with 15g of Nutella® and icing sugar.
