Vanillin is a single flavoring substance, naturally present in the vanilla pod and in its aroma. However, the production of vanilla pods is not enough to meet the escalating global demand. That's why the food sector use also vanillin obtained by synthesis.
The final touch
We operate a high-precision, automatized dosing system. A 400g Nutella® glass contains only 0.08g of vanillin: a very little amount compared to the total weight, but enough to heighten and stabilize the flavour and fragrance of Nutella®. Its unique aroma complements the flavours of the other ingredients in the formula and adds the finishing touch to the recipe, guaranteeing Nutella®'s original taste.
