Kuih Bahulu with Nutella®

INGREDIENTS FOR 18 PORTIONS

Cake Flour 100g

Cornstarch Flour 1tbsp

Vanilla Essence 1/2tbsp

Sugar 120g

Eggs 3

Salt 0.5g

Baking powder 1/2tbsp

Oil 1tbsp

Nutella® 270g
To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!
METHOD

Preheat oven to 190°C and grease the Bahulu mould with oil then preheat the mould in the oven until use.
Sieve together with cake flour, salt, cornstarch, and baking powder.
Set aside. In a mixing bowl, add an egg and sugar.
Beat the misture till fluffy and pale in color for about 8 mins.
Add in the oil and vanilla, mix well and combine.
Then fold the flour gradually in the egg mixture. Do not over mix.

Pour the batter inot the preheated Bahulu mould about 90% full. Bake for 8-10 mins.

Bake for 8-10 mins.
Keep an eye on the Kuih Bahulu, to ensure it doesn't burn.
Once the top of the cake is browned, remove it from the oven.
Let it cool completely and store in an airtight container.
Drizzle with Nutella® to decorate ensuring its 15g per serving.
