Moroccans usually have a very early breakfast seated around small trays/tables arranged on the floor. It's a fun mix of savoury dishes, like olives and bsisa (a rich grainy dish) and sweets, like palm dates and Nutella® wrapped in Khobz bread or spread over a fresh baguette. This is complemented with a mint tea or cardamom-flavoured coffee. On weekdays, the family will sometimes eat together for a hurried breakfast but on weekends it's nice to take things slowly and relax altogether.
