Idli with Nutella®

INGREDIENTS10 Idlis (2 per portion)

  • 210g Urad Dal

  • 400g Rice

  • 5g Oil

  • 180g Cup water

  • 3g Salt

  • 75g Nutella®

To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!


  1. Rinse Rice and Urad Dal a couple of times with water and soak separately for 4 to 5 hrs.

  2. Grind the Urad dal with some water to a fluffy batter, grind Rice coarsely to a semolina texture.

  3. Mix both the batters together and let them ferment for 8-10 hrs and add salt once ready.

  4. Grease Idli cups with oil and pour the batter. Steam for 12-15 mins.

  5. Slice the Idli to spread Nutella® 7.5g. Relish while still warm with some hot milk or fruit juice.
