Chocolate Hazelnut Pancakes
Fluffy Chocolate pancakes made with Krusteaz® pancake mix and hazelnuts, then topped with whipped cream and Nutella® Hazelnut Spread

INGREDIENTS for 15 portions

2 Cups Krusteaz® Buttermilk Pancake Mix

1/4 Cup Cocoa powder

2 Tablespoons Granulated sugar

1 3/4 Cup Cold water

1/4 Cup Hazelnuts Chopped
-
1 Cup Heavy whipping cream chilled

2 Tablespoons Granulated sugar

1/4 Cup Hazelnuts Chopped

7.5 Tablespoons Nutella® Hazelnut Spread

To prepare this delicious recipe, 1 tbsp of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!
METHOD

Heat pancake griddle to 375°F (medium heat). Lightly grease griddle.

In a medium bowl, stir the Krusteaz® pancake mix, cocoa powder and granulated sugar until combined. 2 Cups Krusteaz® Buttermilk Pancake Mix, 1/4 Cup Cocoa powder, 2 Tablespoons Granulated sugar

Add water and mix until just combined. Do not over-mix. 1 3/4 Cup Cold water

Fold in chopped hazelnuts. Let batter stand 2 minutes. 1/4 Cup Hazelnuts

Pour slightly less than ¼ cup batter per pancake onto griddle. Cook 1 – 1 ½ minutes per side, turning only once.

Using an electric mixer with a whip attachment, beat heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. 1 Cup Heavy whipping cream, 2 Tablespoons Granulated sugar

Serve pancakes with whipped cream, chopped hazelnuts and drizzle with 1/2 a Tablespoon of Nutella® Hazelnut Spread. 1/4 Cup Hazelnuts, 7.5 Tablespoons Nutella® Hazelnut Spread
