Banana Oat Cookies with Nutella®
Have them crispy or gooey, these cookies are the perfect treat for banana fans. Made with oats, brown sugar, cinnamon spice and a Nutella® touch, they are the tastiest gift or treat for sharing over the holidays with those you love.
INGREDIENTS 3 Dozen

1/2 cup margarine, softened

2 bananas, ripe and mased

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar, granulated

1 egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 1/2 all purpose flour
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
1/5 tsp cinnamon, ground

1/2 tsp salt, kosher

3 cups Quaker quick oats

Nutella® as needed
To prepare this delicious recipe, 1 tbsp of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!
PREPARATION

In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add egg, banana, and vanilla. Beat well.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to wet ingredients and mix well.

Add oats, mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie or 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack.
Cool completely. -
Drizzle or spread each cookie with 1-2 teaspoons of Nutella®. Serve and enjoy!
