      75g lukewarm milk
-
      40g lukewarm water
-
      50g vegetable oil
-
      1 large egg
-
      1 tbsp instant yeast
-
      1 tsp ground cardamom
-
      1 egg yolk
-
      1 tsp sesame seeds
-
      150g Nutella®

To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!
METHOD
-
1In a small bowl or glass, add lukewarm water, 1 tbsp of sugar and yeast. Stir, cover and set aside for 5-10 minutes or until double in size.
-
2In a large bowl add all other ingredients except milk.
-
3Combine the yeast with the other ingredients and mix for 1 minute (if using stand mixer. If mixing by hand mix for a little longer).
-
4Add milk gradually and keep mixing until it forms a slightly sticky dough.
-
5Place in to a large greased bowl, knead by hand for few minutes and form into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel, and place in a warm area for 45-60 minutes to rise or until it doubles in size.
-
6Next, place the dough on to a floured surface and divide in to even balls of about 2 inches (it depends on how big/large you prefer your Churak pieces).
-
7Cover the balls with a towel and starting with the first ball you formed, roll each ball in to ropes and coil each rope around itself (to look like a snail shell).
-
8Place on to a greased baking sheet, cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
-
9Let it cool slightly, pipe Nutella® on top and finish with a sprinkle of sesame.
