Product safety is a top priority for us. To prevent cross contaminations, Nutella Peanut is produced in different facilities to the existing Nutella products.

Nutella®’s iconic recipe remains the same, all over the world. At Ferrero, we make Nutella® by combining the freshest, most high-quality ingredients possible in order to bring you an exceptional taste experience. We make Nutella® using just seven ingredients: Sugar, palm oil, hazelnuts, skim milk powder, fat-reduced cocoa, emulsifier, lecithin (soya), artificial vanillin. Together, these ingredients deliver Nutella®’s signature creaminess and rich, hazelnut flavor. Check out the “Quality and Ingredients” section on our website to learn more. Nutella spread is gluten free. Nutella & Go, Nutella Biscuits and Nutella B-Ready snacks are not gluten free.

Higher temperatures may cause the product to separate. If you stir well, the product should reconstitute.

Texture of Nutella® changes when refrigerated or kept in a colder environment below 65 degrees. We recommend you keep your product at ambient temperature (65-75 degrees) for the next 24 hours and it will soften.

There are no peanuts or peanut ingredients in Nutella® spreads or Nutella & Go products. Nutella Spreads is made in a separate peanut-free facility.

Nutella® Peanut is not peanut butter. It is the distinctive creaminess of Nutella®’s cocoa hazelnut spread combined with the delicious taste of roasted peanuts.

  Nutella® Peanut – as distributed from April 2026 in North America – will be produced at our plant in Franklin Park, Chicago, Illinois. Franklin Park is where our peanut brands Butterfinger and Baby Ruth are made. Opened in May 2024, this plant is a new 70,000 square foot facility, developed as part of our investment in manufacturing capacity to support our portfolio and continued geographic expansion.

Yes, Nutella® Peanut is a plant-based product.

No. Classic Nutella® is a product with a rich history, and beloved by millions of fans every day. We’re always excited to bring other products to the Nutella® family, last year launching Nutella® Plant Based in Europe and, in April 2026, Nutella® Peanut in North America.

Nutella® Peanut contains peanuts that are sourced from US, and peanut flour from South America.
